Joseph putting on the skim coat on the freshly scrapped ceiling and then dusted from sanding the skim coat to even. Looks great BUT be advised we will never remove popcorn from ceilings again! Option 1) we buy a house with flat ceilings or Option 2) we cover any popcorn ceiling with sheetrock and lose the 1/2 to 3/4 inch and gain our happiness. This job was the worst!

My wife wants all popcorn removed at home. I almost went for it. After seing what you went thru...forget it.
But to add a sheet rock on top is the perfect solution. Thanks guys
Dude, you should have called me. I could of told you how much it sux. Especially if you want them smooth. Never again!!
